Bankside Tackle Sheffield was established in 2000 with the shop starting its life on the high street in the Sheffield suburb of Woodhouse, now, 12 years later the shop is thriving in a new commercial premises within Sheffield’s Holbrook industrial estate after its summer 2011 re-location, where it has continued its reputation for giving a first class service within a pleasant, family-friendly environment. 

Bankside Tackle Sheffield has always operated with a policy to treat our customers in exactly the way we would like, and expect, to be treated ourselves.
The new store has proved to be a big hit, with customers coming from far and wide to enjoy the shopping experience that our brightly illuminated, clean and well organised 3200sq.ft superstore offers.

With major manufacturers involved across the board coupled with almost unrivaled parking provisions and a location which is just a short drive from junction 31 of the M1, it is easy to see why more and more people are choosing to shop with Bankside Tackle Sheffield.

We cater for match, specimen and pleasure anglers alike with a wide range of staff expertise to compliment our ever expanding product ranges, so should you have a query please do not hesitate to contact us as we are always happy to help.

Since the shop was first established we have endeavoured to offer our customers with the best possible item choice whilst maintaining healthy stock levels at all times. The increase in premises size has seen stock levels and item ranges grow even further...and they continue to do so, which means Bankside Tackle Sheffield are well placed to provide you with what you want, when you want it.

Making a purchase with Bankside Tackle Sheffield could not be easier. Simply browse our user friendly site adding the items you wish to the shopping cart as you go. Upon completion of you order, you will proceed to our safe checkout which is powered by Sage Pay to ensure a safe transaction of funds.

We accept all major credit and debit cards. 

Although rare, sometimes items shown on our site could be unavailable. In this event it is our policy to contact you to agree on the best course of action to satisfy your order. This may be via suggestion of an alternative item or an expected time span for the item to be available to re-order. If no acceptable alternative can be agreed then payment will be refunded in full.

Bankside Tackle Sheffield reserves the right to refuse to accept your order in the following eventualities;

1]    Where goods are not available - We aim to update our website daily but it is possible that in any one day we may receive more orders for a particular item than we have stock. In these rare circumstances orders will be dealt with on a first come first serve basis.

2]    Where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment.

3]   Where there has been a pricing or product description error.

Please Note: For security reasons and to prevent credit/debit card fraud, we can only deliver your item or items to the address where your card is registered. 

Cancelling your Order
In accordance with the United Kingdom’s Distance Selling Regulations

You have the right to cancel your order from Bankside Tackle Sheffield at any stage of the order process for a full refund. You must inform Bankside Tackle Sheffield via email or telephone prior to despatch. For orders that are awaiting dispatch, it may be possible to cancel your order before it is posted to you. If, however, your order has already shipped, you will need to return your purchase to us, following our returns procedure.


We are more than happy to exchange any unwanted items, provided they are returned unused, in perfect condition and in the original packaging within 14 days of delivery. Postage refunds will not be issued in such circumstances.

If we have made an error with your order, we will rectify it as soon as possible and cover the cost of any postage. 

Please call us before returning any goods. 

Please also remember to inspect your delivery carefully and notify us of any damage within 24 hours.

If an item has been damaged in transit we will replace it as quickly as we can. If an item has broken in normal use and it is within its warranty period, it must be returned to us along with a short note consisting of your name, address, a contact telephone number and an explanation outlining the circumstances of the damage.

Generally, items must be inspected by a manufacturer's representative before any replacements can be issued.

The goods in question need to be returned within 14 days of delivery. 

Under these circumstances the return postage will be met by the customer. 

Please remember to inspect your delivery carefully and notify us of any damage within 24 hours, we will then take the appropriate action.

If an item develops a fault during normal use and is within its warranty period, please return it with a note outlining the issue that has occurred, plus your name, address and a contact telephone number or E-mail address. Generally items must be inspected by a manufacturer’s representative before any replacement can be issued.
If there is found to be a manufacturing fault any postage costs incurred by the customer will also be refunded.
